Robert Hild is the Chairman and CEO of ACT Capital Advisors, bringing more than 25 years of private equity leadership to the firm. Before joining ACT, he co-founded Invest West Capital, LLC—a West Coast-focused private equity firm specializing in middle-market acquisitions. During his time at IWC, Robert served as CEO of five portfolio companies and led over 20 mergers, acquisitions, and sales, totaling upwards of $200 million in transaction value.

His operational and executive leadership spans several industries, including light manufacturing, food processing, retail fixtures, durable medical products, industrial recycling, critical power systems, and legal support services. Earlier in his career, Robert worked at Ernst & Young as a senior manager in Corporate Finance, where he provided strategic guidance to middle-market buyers and sellers.

Academically, Robert earned his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University’s School of Accountancy, an MBA from the Marriott School of Business at BYU, and completed Stanford University’s Executive Leadership Program.
