Mike Vanderslice is a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors with extensive leadership experience as a business owner, operator, and advisor. He brings a strong track record of working with middle-market private companies across a wide range of industries, helping them navigate value creation, exit planning, and transaction execution with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

Mike is particularly known for his deep understanding of manufacturing, distribution, and B2B services sectors, primarily working with companies generating up to $50 million in annual revenue. For many years, he has served as a trusted advisor to CEOs and executive teams throughout the Pacific Northwest, earning a reputation for his direct communication style and results-driven approach.

In addition to his role at ACT, Mike operates Vanderslice Capital Partners, a lower-middle-market private equity firm that provides direct equity and mezzanine debt investments to select companies. His executive leadership experience includes serving as CEO of STI Fleet Services (now DriveShop), Clothier & Head (now Petersen & Sullivan), Vanderslice Advisory Services, and Management Design Associates (now part of Moss Adams Consulting).

Mike holds a Master of Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College. He is also a Certified Management Consultant.
