George serves as a Senior Advisor at ACT Capital Advisors and leads the firm’s operations in Nashville, Tennessee. With over three decades of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and Investment Banking, he offers deep expertise to both clients and colleagues. Throughout his career, George has represented domestic and international clients across a wide variety of sectors, successfully closing more than $750 million in transactions involving private equity firms, public and private companies, and traditional lenders. His industry experience spans manufacturing, industrial distribution, IT and software, retail, B2B services, engineering and construction, as well as auto and truck dealerships and leasing businesses.

He began his professional journey in sales at IBM before transitioning into business ownership across several industries, including oil distribution, aviation, insurance, real estate, and automotive dealerships. George is also a former U.S. Air Force pilot. Before his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
