Brad Bodenman is a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors and brings over 35 years of experience as a CFO, board member, and strategic advisor to companies across a wide range of industries. His sector expertise spans seafood, agriculture, manufacturing, industrials, retail, healthcare IT, SaaS, and music and entertainment. This diverse background enables Brad to approach each engagement with a consultative mindset, integrating both operational and financial perspectives into every transaction.
Throughout his career, Brad has successfully led, negotiated, and closed more than 60 M&A-related transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, equity consolidations, recapitalizations, mergers, and capitalizations. These deals have collectively reached into the billions of dollars. Known as a financial and business “way-maker,” Brad is recognized for his ability to develop creative solutions that deliver optimal outcomes for all stakeholders involved.
Before joining ACT Capital Advisors, Brad held CFO positions at several prominent organizations, including American Seafoods Group—one of the world’s largest fishing companies—and Muzak, the global leader in background music services (now known as Mood Media). He also served as CFO for two SaaS startups. Brad began his career at PriceWaterhouse, now PwC, where he gained foundational experience in public accounting.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with double emphases in Accounting and Finance from Washington State University. In addition to his executive roles, Brad founded Paraclete Advisory Services, a consulting firm dedicated to helping middle-market companies navigate strategic transactions, capital structuring, restructurings, complex financial modeling, and process improvements in accounting and controls.
